Lung cancer is a malignant tumour in the lungs. Depending on the type and stage of lung cancer, it is treated through surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy or immunotherapy. The indicator shows the frequency of inpatient treatments with a lung cancer diagnosis, both when it is coded as the principal diagnosis and when it is coded as principal or secondary diagnosis.
