Radiation oncology and radiotherapy

Radiation oncology and the associated radiotherapy are used to treat cancerous tumours using ionising radiation. The frequency or rather the extent of the treatments in the area of radiation oncology and radiotherapy is described in the Swiss Atlas of Healthcare on the basis of costs in the outpatient sector.
